You're boring.
Anyway, all that I said was that one candidate stood out. Any guesses as to who the UofT people fell in love with?
TT or not TT, VAP is the question.

It looks like one candidate stood out from the rest. Guess which one?
My suspicion is that the IR searches will give us a better idea about how insular and akratic UofT is.
Are they done interviewing? Did they extend offers? Who accepted?
What happened to all the chatter here?
Who stood out at UTSC?
Has Saint Thomas More made a decision yet?
You're boring.

I can tell you one thing - Maritimer didn't get the job - sorry bud - maybe next time - hey, why don't you try submitting that old conference paper to CPSR? Maybe that will help next year on the market.
What's up with U of Sask.? The wiki says "University of Saskatchewan-Johnson-Shoyama - Junior position cancelled due to financial constraints."
Is Lucan Way already tenured at UT? His record is very impressive, but he is only listed as an assistant prof. Strange. In general, what's the percentage tenure rejection at top Canadian schools?
Very low. U of T had two tenure-denials recently, but that is pretty uncommon at Canadian universities.
Whom have they recently rejected?

Seems pretty self-explanatory.
I was more curious of where Sasketchewan was in the process, and if they'll repost.

I wonder if they know how to use em dashes in CPSR?
CPSR? Surely you mean CPRQ?
I guess UofO will be hiring again next year.
Finally we're getting some info on the wiki. What I want to know is who was short-listed at STM? Have they made a decision yet?
So who got denied tenure at U of T?
I think it's funny that no one knows or (with one exception) cares about what's happening at STM.
Anyone hear anything from SSHRC regarding postdocs?
Vancouver looks nice. Go Canada!
Too soon for most SSHRC decisions.
Any news about the Dalhousie job?
Any news from McGill, I think they had a China position?
Oh, there seems a separate "McGill China job" thread somewhere. But I don't believe it's a position for teaching Canadian politics from a China perspective.
McGill is hiring in Chinese politics???
The wiki indicates that the St. Mary's shortlist is complete. Anyone know who's on it?
Re: SSHRC, their website says decisions in February, but last year decisions didn't come out til early April.
^^ Yeah, McGill's hiring in Chinese politics every year... Maybe someone will take the job this time around!
