  6. PORJAE: It is not a journal on the radar screen of political theorists. Depending on the subject matter of your paper, people might be able to suggest a theory journal which would be open to your topic.

    Also, as a general rule, if you are jr fac, talk to your mentor or chair. Maybe your department is happy with interdisciplinary publishing, as long as it is peer reviewed. If you are a PhD candidate, you shouldn't do this yet.

    But Interventions is a decent journal for its avowed fields (anthro, cultural studies, post-colonial). So if your dept is fine with interdisciplinary publishing, it might be a good outlet.

    Not quite as good as Transgressionless: A Global Journal of Post-Sexual Studies, but considerably better than Inhalations: A Local Screed of Studied Respiration. Hope this helps.
