Economists hired at top political science programs typically have research agendas that are too good to be wasted at econ departments. There's your answer, troll.

Look---UCLA had 800+ applications this past year. The dept made an offer to an ECONOMIST in the first round. The offer was declined. The second round is out. One went to another ECONOMIST.
so economists do much better than pol scientists!
