   Hi everyone, I want to do research on Canadian Foreign Policy (historical, but also contemporary). Am looking for suggestions on where to apply. Here's the list I've got of possible schools: York, Western, Simon Fraser, Calgary. Anywhere else I should be looking. Is what they say about studying Canadian foreign policy at Toronto true? Should I consider Toronto anyway? Or Queens?

   Also, what could I do (besides choosing the right program) to make my PhD on Canadian Foreign Policy more marketable?

   You'd have to be completely insane to consider Simon Fraser for this specialty. Where the heck did you get that idea?

   I would look into McGill. Not sure why they're not on your list, frankly.

   You need to narrow your focus. There are strong faculty at Southern Saskatchewan State doing work on Atlantic fisheries which may provide inspiration.
